Reflecting on learning

Context

Students were interviewed about the ways they learn and how they manage their learning. The interviews were conducted at the end of Term 3.

The elements of The individual learner standard addressed by this task are:

… students describe the factors that affect learning and identify strategies that will enhance their own learning. With support, they identify their learning strengths and weaknesses and learning habits that improve learning outcomes.

(Students) contribute to the development of protocols that create positive learning environments in the classroom.

The elements of the Managing personal learning standard addressed by this task are:

… students set short-term, achievable goals in relation to specific tasks. They complete short tasks by planning and allocating appropriate time and resources.

(Students) comment on task progress and achievements. They manage their feelings in pursuit of goals and demonstrate a positive attitude towards their learning.
