- In Sample A the student shows an understanding of ordering whole numbers where the decimal point has been ignored, for example 4.002 is regarded as 4002 and 2.06 is regarded as 206.
- In Sample B the student demonstrates an understanding of ordering the whole number part of the decimal number but shows a misunderstanding of the value of the decimal parts.
