Samples are available for the following tasks:
Gymnastics
Context
Students participated in a gymnastics unit in which they explored:
- working safely in gymnastics and the need for rules
- statics, including static balance, dynamic balance and body tension activities
- springing and landing using both the feet and hands
- locomotion, travelling on the feet and using hands to assist movement
- rotation, rolling and turning about an internal axis.
In a gymnastics lesson, students were asked to demonstrate their ability to:
- bench walk with either a half or full turn
- jump and land from a low bench.
