Annotation
Health knowledge and promotion – 2.75
- Identifies the human lifespan stages of the unborn child (prenatal), infancy, childhood, teenager (adolescence), adulthood and elderly (ageing).
- Provides some descriptions of development such as the elderly, ‘get sick and need some help’.
- Fails to use specific terminology, for example uses ‘mothers tummy’ instead of ‘womb’.
- Descriptions of most stages focus on social and/or intellectual development. This response could be strengthened by greater identification of changes in physical development such as learning to walk during infancy or growing taller during childhood and adolescence.
