Response to survival presentation
Students participated in a project on survival, an activity which integrated Science and Design, Creativity and Technology. The presentations included models, a demonstration and a data show.
Students were asked to respond to the presentations of their peers using a response sheet containing generic questions.
The element of the Listening, viewing and responding standard addressed by this task is:
(Students) ask clarifying questions about ideas and information they listen to and view. They develop interpretations of the content and provide reasons for them. They explain why peers may develop alternative interpretations, and … evaluate their (communication strategies) effectiveness for different audiences.
