Curriculum and Standards Framework (CSF) II
The Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) build on the previous curriculum for Victorian schools, the Curriculum and Standards Framework (CSF) II.
The CSF II remains a useful curriculum reference that can be used by teachers to support teaching and learning programs focusing on on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards.
CSF II CD-ROM (2000)
The CSF II, published in February 2000, describes curriculum and standards in eight key areas of learning from Prep to Year 10.
The eight key learning areas are The Arts, English, Health and Physical Education, Languages Other Than English (LOTE), Mathematics, Science, Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE) and Technology.
The online version of the CD-ROM is provided in standard HTML format that can be accessed using a standard web browser. It includes:
- the curriculum, standards and requirements for eight key learning areas; and
- support materials such as annotated work samples in English, Mathematics, Science and English as a Second Language (ESL) and sample programs and units.
The CD-ROM (available on the Student Learning DVD) also includes Support materials in the other key learning areas.
