The Victorian Essential Learning Standards is a key initiative in the Government’s education reform agenda. The Blueprint website provides information about the Victorian Government's plans for improving its schools.
Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (www.vcaa.vic.edu.au)
The VCAA is responsible for provision of high quality curriculum and assessment programs for all students in Victoria. The VCAA website provides information about the VCE, VCAL, AIM and CSF.
Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (www.education.vic.gov.au)
Department of Education and Early Childhood Development provides students, teachers, parents and school leaders with information and activities related to school education in Victoria with links to other states and countries.

The Student Learning section of the Blueprint for Government Schools website provides information about the initiatives within Flagship Strategy 1. It focuses on the reform of curriculum practices relating to what students learn, how teaching facilitates learning, how learning is assessed, how student achievements are reported to parents and the documentation of exemplary practice.

The Knowledge Bank is a resource for education and training providers in Victoria. It supports the sharing of exemplary and promising practice across the education and training sector, and aims to improve understanding of what works, where and why it works. It also aims to facilitate the adoption of innovative approaches to learning, teaching and school organisation across Victoria.

The Victorian Education Channel is an online service provided by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD). The Channel operates as a discovery site for information and services related to education and training that have been produced by the Department and selected third party providers.
Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (www.vrqa.vic.gov.au/)
The VRQA is the statutory body in Victoria responsible for developing and monitoring standards for education and training after Year 10 (excluding higher education). They accredit new qualifications, and are responsible for approving the education and training providers who offer them.
