Currently most of our downloadable documents are in PDF. In the future we will work towards making our documents available in other formats to give users the choice of how they would like to view our documents, while making sure that they are accessible to everyone.
Three sections have been organised to facilitate quick access to publications by VCAA:
General Publications
About introduction to the
Standards, discussion papers and parent brochure.
Standards Publications
About the sixteen
domains booklets and the level booklets.
Teacher Support Materials
About support
materials such as sample units, Students with Disabilities Guidelines and ESL
Companion to the VELS.
Each section can be accessed using the Downloads menu to the left.
PDF (Portable Document Format) files are often used on websites to provide large amounts of text and images in a more user-friendly way than webpages.
To view PDF files, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have this you can download the latest free version from the Adobe website.
Once you have installed this software, you will be able to open the PDFs available on our website. Wherever possible, we try to keep the file size of our PDFs under 1MB to ensure fast download. Estimated download time over 56K modem for 100KB file is about 13 seconds. All links open a new window.
