VELS Teacher Educator Forum resources

The VCAA held a one day forum on Monday 23 Febraury 2009, focussed on the on-going implementation of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

The purposes of the forum was to provide teacher educators with the opportunity to discuss the following with VCAA staff:

VELS Graduate Teacher Forum resources

The VCAA held a one day forum on Tuesday 27 January 2009 focusing on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) to support graduate teachers about to embark on their first year of teaching.

The forum was designed to provide advice for graduate teachers on using the VELS in planning teaching, learning and assessment activities. The program:

Professional development recording sheet (Doc - 150KB) This is a template from the VIT website that can be used to record professional development sessions that you have attended. It has been completed with the details of the VELS Graduate Teacher Forum. A completed form like this is sufficient as evidence of your ongoing professional development as a teacher.
