The work samples in this section form the assessment map for the Writing dimension of the English domain.
Work samples are included that illustrate the kinds of responses students typically produce when they have achieved specific elements of each standard.
Additional points have been included on the assessment map scale that are consistent with those included in progression points for this domain. Work samples at .25, .5 and .75 illustrate typical development of the kinds of resources students typically produce as they progress from one standard towards the next. Annotations identify for each sample on the assessment map attributes of the student responses that relate to specific elements of the standards.
Each part of the assessment map can be accessed by using the menu on the right side of the screen and selecting the appropriate level.
As new samples are identified, they will be annotated against the standard and located at the appropriate point on the assessment map scale.
